Ceiling Tile Mirror - flocked
cast plaster, flocking, mirrored glass - 35.5” x 11” x 0.5”
Ever stare up at the ceiling tiles when you are lying back at the dentist and wonder why on earth they have that pattern? If you look a little closer they actually become quite beautiful and complex. I got obsessed with this pattern for a while in grad school, and went as far as making a silicone mold from a ceiling tile so I could cast my own. And why not throw a little mirror in there? This one is cast plaster and the front face is flocked with white flocking, making it actually quite soft to the touch. A cleat on the back allows you to hang this tile on the wall - not recommended for actual ceiling use.
